The world is under the dark shadow of COVID-19 since November 2019 last year. Everyone globally suffered through the pandemic with cases in India starting in March 2020 and then just rising rapidly thereafter.
The Government of India appealed to the common people to initiate work from home to break the chain of this virus. And while we were practicing good sense and precaution as we stayed inside our houses, there were some bravehearts who were standing on the frontline and working tirelessly to tackle the dregs of the pandemic. These are our doctors, hospital staff, police officials, municipality works, and our essential goods providers who left no stone unturned to make sure that all of us, the masses, were safe.
These past few months were a revelation for everyone when we opened our eyes and acknowledged as well as appreciated the strength and the sacrifices made by these people who are essentially the real WARRIORS. Taking inspiration from them and of course, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Janta Curfew that majorly helped curb the spread of the virus in the initial stages, a ‘Karo Na Salaam Campaign’ was initiated by BJP Youth leader Sayali Kulkarni and Gautam Thakker of Everymedia Technologies. Sayali Kulkarni is a young politician of Bhartiya Yuva Morcha’s Yuvati Manch, Mumbai and leads also the social media panel for the youth wing. The campaign was designed by both Sayali Kulkarni and Gautam Thakker where the latter’s organisation, Everymedia provided digital wings to Sayali’s extraordinary ideas. Gautam’s Everymedia Technologies is a well-known digital marketing company in India that drives creative communications, public relations, social media handling, and influencer marketing strategy to strengthen brand awareness across the nation. He stood as a key player with young gun Sayali Kulkarni. Also, the owner of Mumbai Uncensored Siddhant Mohite and Shwetank Maheshwari from the Leo Club were core members of this campaign and made sure they become the pillar of support to the cause by providing everything that they can from their end.
The campaign was celebrated across the nation with over one lakh plus entries received as of 29th November 2020. The team recently presented a small video of this campaign to the Honourable Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Bharat Singh Koshyari Ji. The Governor, recognising the efforts put in to appreciate the WARRIORS, applauded this brilliant campaign, and appreciated the team for effectively using digital platforms.
Celebrated artist and ad-guru Mr. Bharat Dabholkar, journalist Mr. Dilip Chawre, and Senior BJP leader Mr. Raghunath Kulkarni were present at the Raj Bhavan to extend their support for this campaign.
