Not many actors have a fiction piece based on them while they live, but Madhuri Dixit Nene is one of the rare people now. A series based on her life and times in the US, after she got married to hubby Sriram Nene. Sri Rao writes the series, who has already written shows like General Hospital: Night Shift.
In a media interaction, Madhuri Dixit said that she was first surprised when Sri spoke about making a series inspired by her life in America. She said that even as they were in talks, Mark Gordon Productions came on board and Priyanka Chopra gave the nod to executive produce the series.
Both the actors have become big names both in the US and India. Madhuri Dixit dominated the box office from the late 80s to the late 90s, until she relocated to US to start a family with her husband. Priyanka Chopra started her career in the late nineties and became a household name with her roles in films like Don, Mujshe Shaadi Karoge and others. Priyanka made inroads into Hollywood with her film Baywatch and her series Quantico. She will soon be seen in a romantic film with Liam Neeson, Isn’t it Romantic.
