
Madhur Bhandarkar is on a roll. His ‘Indu Sarkar’ has started a big conversation on Emergency. Now, his short film, ‘Mumbai Mist’ is earning some rave reviews out of India. ‘Mumbai Mist’, a short film starring Annu Kapoor and Master Devrath opened to positive reviews at the BRICS Film Festival in Chengdu, China. The film is part of The Magnificent Five – Directors Collaboration Project for the BRICS Film Festival. The series tells the story of a man who befriends a young boy who stays on the streets of Mumbai. The film was alongside films made by Walter Salles, who earlier made The Motorcycle Diaries and other famous film-makers like Jia Zhangke, Alekey Ferodchenko and Jahmil XT Qubeka.
