
With big names looking at the digital space, the streaming world is becoming the next big thing. Joining the ranks of Bollywood A Listers going the streaming way are Madhur Bhandarkar, Annu Kapoor and Sanjay Chhel.
Madhur will be directing a short film that stars Annu Kapoor and is written by Sanjay Chhel. It is part of a five-film anthology with the theme ‘where has the time gone’.
Annu Kapoor plays the role of an elderly man who befriends a young boy, a rag-picker on the streets of Mumbai. Child actor Devrath Mudgal plays the rag-picker. The film was shot in South Mumbai in a period of five days. It is titled ‘Mumbai Mist’.
‘Mumbai Mist’ will be screened at the upcoming BRICs Film Festival to be held in China in June and will premiere on the 23rd of that month. Film-makers from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa will also present their films at this festival.
