Karan directed one of the four stories in Lust Stories. His short film featured Kiara Advani, a young bride who takes matters into her own hands to satisfy her sexual needs.

In a media statement, the singer’s family member has stated that why did Karan have to use the song in such an embarrassing situation. The family member went on to say that when the song was recorded, Karan was very happy having Lata Mangeshkar sing for his movie. It states   He further went on say that the song is Bhajan-like and was exasperated as to why did Karan used this song to show his heroine in an orgasmic state. He further opined that Karan could have used any other song.
