The latest buzz in the streaming world is that Karan Wahi will join the cast of the upcoming Netflix series, ‘Sacred Games’, starring Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddique and Radhika Apte. The series is based on the 2006 novel written by Vikram Chandra, a crime novel that talks about the crime and corruption in Mumbai city back in the 90s.
There’s no official word as yet about this, but if true, Karan becomes the latest film start to join the bandwagon of film actors joining the streaming scene. Apart from Saif, Richa Chadha, Vivek Oberoi, Mandira Bedi and others have performed in web series and short films.
Karan Wahi is an ex-cricketer who made his debut with Remix in 2004. He then made a return in the 2009 series Mere Ghar Aayee Ek Nanhi Pari. Since then, he has acted in series like Dil Mill Gaye, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, Dhoop Kinare and Teri Meri Love Stories. He also played the lead character in the series Kahani Hamari… Dil Dosti Deewapan Ki.
He made his film debut with the film Daawat-E-Ishq in 2014, starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra.
