A bad copy of the film Jinda and Sukha is available on YouTube, uploaded by a little know YouTube channel named Sikh History. Jinda and Sukha might not be a name that’s familiar to the current generation. However, three decades ago, the two grabbed headlines because of their role in the assassination of A. K Vaidya, the Chief of the Indian army at the time of Operation Blue Star.

Harjinder Singh Jinda and Sukhdev Singh Sukha were later arrested for their role in India’s biggest bank robbery at that time, and sentenced to death. After the death sentence was carried out, protests erupted all over Punjab about the deaths.

For some, Jinda and Sukha are the shining beacons of the Khalistan movement and for some, they are murderers and assassins. The film was supposed to release in 2015, but the Censor Board at that time had banned the film.

Interestingly, the film isn’t even been monetized, which means that the people behind the uploading of the film just want their film to be seen. Till now, there is no governing body for Internet content in India. This has raised a hue and cry, especially after crass products like RGV’s ‘Guns & Thighs’ which has promised full frontal nudity and a smattering of cuss words.
