Netflix has bought the rights to the Jennifer Garner film, Yes Day. The film is about a family that comes up with a unique proposition towards parenting – they will have a day where they will only say ‘yes’ to their children.
The film is based on the 2009 children’s book of the same name. Garner will produce as well as star in the film. She will return with Miguel Arena, who worked with Garner on the film ‘Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day’. The script for ‘Yes Day’ is by Justin Malen.
This is the third big acquisition by Netflix in recent times. Earlier, there was news that Netflix has acquired rights to the Steven Soderbergh basketball drama High Flying Bird’, which stars Andre Holland and Zazie Beetz. They have also put up the required money for the Jennifer Aniston comedy ‘Dumplin’.
