Research throws up some brilliant information – some of it is interesting and some of it is really interesting. Like recent research shows that the Indian audience streams almost all through the day – from 6 AM to 9 PM. The timing peaks at around 5 PM.
This research proves what has been the thought about the Indian streaming market. Many among the Indian audience use their workplace internet connection for their streaming experience. India still reaches office at 9:30. It’s at around 5 to 6 that the workload decreases and the departments begin to evacuate. That’s the time – and bandwidth – that people use to catch up with the latest episode of their favourite web series.
The research tends to believe that Indians make their way from home at 5 PM but the typical pack up time for the Indian workforce is 6:30 PM and onwards.
Apart from this, the research also showed up the top titles for Indians. The usual suspects like ‘Orange Is The New Black’, ‘Stranger Things’, ‘House of Cards’ make the list and then there’s series like ‘Arrow’ and ‘That ‘70s Show.’
