Portraying the conflict of love in the darkest hours of the 1960’s and 70’s this song crafts the journey of how Kusum and Ronobir walk miles to serve the nation as doctors, leaving their personal battles behind.

It Happened in Calcutta It is a story of Kusum, a young, innocent but strong-headed girl who becomes the first female doctor in a male-dominated society on the 1960s but falls in love with Ronobir, a privileged, arrogant and flamboyant boy in college. What follows is a series of events, leading to the separation that makes Kusum lose faith in Ronobir & love. A part of this period drama also showcases the Indo-Pak war of 1971 and deals with the cholera outbreak while taking viewers to a completely different world altogether.
