Imran Khan turns director with a short film that’s been made for Johnny Walker. The short is titled Mission Mars: Keep Walking India and is part of the Johnnie Walker: The Journey Campaign. Dharma 2.0, a sister concern of Dharma Productions will be producing the short film. The film will be celebrating the story of India’s rover successfully orbiting Mars. It stars Prakash Belawadi, Abhishek Saha and Sonali Sachdev. The short film will stream from September 20. This is the first time that Imran Khan will be directing a film, short or otherwise.
Imran Khan made his debut with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, opposite Genelia D’Souza. He then went on to feature in films of which Delhi Belly was the most popular. He acted in films like Kidnap, Luck, I Hate Luv Storys, Jhootha Hi Sahi, Break Ke Baad and Mere Brother ki Dulhan. He has also acted in films like Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, Bombay Talkies, Once Upon ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara, and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. His last film was the 2015 Katti Batti, directed by Nikhil Advani.
