Homi Adajania has given us some of the most entertaining films like Being Cyrus, Cocktail and Finding Fanny. Sometime back, there was buzz that he’ll be bringing out a web series titled Saas, Bahu aur Cocaine.

The story of this uniquely titled concept was about the women of a family running a drug cartel. In a recent interview, Homi revealed that the concept will no longer be a web series but will be taken to the big screen by Kersi Khambatta. Well, a web series’ loss is a win for the big screen.

While that’s going to the big screen, Homi is already putting in the bells and whistles for another concept that he’s termed to be ‘Being Cyrus’ on steroids. The very idea that Homi has his eyes set on the world of web series should be good news for those who’re looking for some good Indian web series and stories.

Whether it’s a film or a web series, this will be the first time that an Indian film-maker will be making such a concept. Women in drugs as been a mainstay in the west, with series like Orange Is The New Black and Weed portraying drug mules and a woman who gets into the world of drugs because she needs money.
