2017 was another feather in the streaming world cap. There were some record breaking web series that left the audiences asking for more. And there were some announcements that got the streamers intrigued. Collating all that the viewers are excited for in 2018, TheDigitalHash.com has collated the most awaited series of 2018.

Inside Edge (Amazon Prime Original)

The first season of this maiden Indian Amazon Prime Original was well received and yes, widely streamed. After its stupendous success, the producers Excel Entertainment, are gearing up for a better, bigger spicier season 2 of the cricket drama in 2018.

A Series of Unfortunate Events 2 (Netflix)

Neil Patrick Harris retains his character of Count Olaf and has said that his characters and aliases will get crazier in this new season. The other thing new in this series is that the Baudelaire kids are up for some more adventures – living under the care of an entire village, finding refuge in a hospital and will finally end up in a carnival. The series returns to streaming in early 2018 on Netflix

Altered Carbon (Netflix)

Altered Carbon is set in a future where consciousness is digitized and stored in cortical stacks implanted in the spine, allowing humans to survive physical death by having their memories and consciousness re-sleeved into new bodies. It comes to Netflix on February 2.

Mindhunter: season 2 (Netflix)

Season 2 of Netflix’s Mindhunter will be about the Atlanta child murders.” The Atlanta child murders took place between 1979 and 1981, and resulted in the deaths of 28 children, teens and adults, all of whom were African-American. The series will stream in late 2018.

House of Cards 6 (Netflix)

House of Cards season 5 already ended on Claire Underwood (played by Robin Wright) taking the bigger role. And in doing away with Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood, Netflix has furthered added more interest to one of its most watched show Its 8-episode final season is expected  to stream in Late 2018.

Ozark: Season 2 (Netflix)

Jason Bateman played Marty Byrde, a financial adviser who launders money for a Mexican drug cartel. And to save his life, Byrde moves his family and his money-laundering operation from Chicago to the Lake of the Ozarks. Laura Linney plays Bateman’s wife. The series returns to Netflix in 2018.

13 reasons why (Netflix)

While the first season of 13 Reasons Why introduced the world to a suicide story, its season two is expected to carry on a couple of months after the last season ended and is about recovery. And the season will connect the past with the present so Hannah Baker will come in flashbacks in this 2018 season.

Sense 8 finale (Netflix)

Fans went berserk, knowing that Sense8 has not been renewed by Netflix, but their prayers were answered and a finale season has been lined up. This series explored the mental connection of a group of people around the globe, finding a way to survive being hunted by those who see them as a threat to the world’s order. It returns, due to popular demand, to tie up the tale in 2018.

Marvel’s Luke Cage: season 2 (Netflix)

Superhuman ex-con returns after a brief stint with his pals in The Defenders. The season two will be of 13-episodes and will see the return of cast members Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Alfre Woodard as Mariah Dillard and Theo Rossi as Shades, joined by newcomers Mustafa Shakir as John McIver and Gabrielle Dennis as Tilda Johnson.

Daredevil 3 (Netflix)

The third season of Daredevil follows Matt Murdock/Daredevil, a blind lawyer-by-day who fights crime at night. The highlight of the season will be the casting of Wilson Bethel. The release date for this Netflix web series has not been confirmed yet, but it will surely release in 2018.
