Haryana is now offering digital contents offline to the students in colleges and universities. The State Government recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC).
The MOU envisioned developing cooperation between the parties towards development of infrastructure for creating access to multimedia educational content and subsequently integrating it in teaching and learning practices at higher education level.
This MoU will help the students who do not have the internet connectivity. 3,000 subject experts from throughout the country has prepared the e-content in 97 subjects; it would certainly help the students to enhance their knowledge. CEC has a content of 44,000 hours, which was only 8,000 hours four years ago.
