Isha from Gupt

This was the first time Kajol played an antagonist and she aced it. Featuring alongside Bobby Deol, she portrayed the obsessive and murderous lover. You might hate her in the film but cannot ignore her remarkable performance.

Anjali from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

After watching Kajol in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, everybody wanted a best friend like Anjali. With the short bob and thick hairbands, Anjali became an instant favourite. We all cried when she left Rahul at the station. But, we also overjoyed when they had their sweet reunion at the summer camp. As the never-ending debate between Team Rahul and Team Aman is still on, we cannot stop gushing over Anjali and her boisterous energy.

Zooni from Fanaa

Kajol played a blind girl opposite Aamir Khan in Fanaa. Her character Zooni redefined her capability in terms of acting and proved that she can ace any versatile role.

Mandira from My Name is Khan

When Kajol essayed the role of a mother in this film, her character Mandira touched everybody’s heart. The way Kajol enacted the force of love she has for Rizwan, the way she emotes pain when she goes through one of the worst tragedy any mother has to face, she did it so beautifully that she left traces of brilliance behind on the big screen. Her collaboration with Dharma Productions and Shah Rukh Khan gave the audience another memorable performance and a super-hit film by the actress.
