Barack Obama will be the first guest on the David Letterman web show that will soon be on Netflix. The show, titled My Guest Needs No Introduction will release once a month and will also have celebrities like Jay Z, George Clooney, Tina Fey and others.

In one of the earliest videos, Barack Obama has a freewheeling chat with Letterman, talking about when he danced with Prince and Sasha Obama, his daughter. The incident stems from the secret show that Prince held at The White House for President Barack Obama and his family in 2016.

If this interaction is to form the general tonality that the series has, we can be sure that this could be one of the heart-warming and entertaining series to come out of the world of streaming.  Obama proceeds to also share a warm anecdote about how he shared a dance with his daughter, even though he doesn’t have a lot of moves in his arsenal.

This incident once again goes to show the humility and the human aspect that made Barack Obama the former President of America. Will this show garnet more fans for Obama, who is already a Nobel Prize winner? Time will tell.

With this, Netflix is coming up with more and more mainstream content. This is one of the first talk shows to come up on the streaming platforms. With big names with David Letterman and Barack Obama already in, this will certainly be something that really take the competition to the other streaming platforms like Amazon Prime. Currently, Amazon Prime doesn’t have a lot of original content and is only re-phasing content that’s available on the TV networks in the US and other countries across the globe.
