Coach Snoop: Season 1 (Netflix)
Snoop Dogg turns coach for a youth football league Snoop Youth Football League that consists of children from low income neighborhoods in Los Angeles. The eight-episode season offers a close look at Snoop and the players as they chase a championship and deal with adversity off the field.
The series launches globally on Netflix on February 2.
Absentia (Amazon Prime)
Absentia stars Stana Katic as an FBI agent Emily, believed to have been killed by a serial killer, but reappears after six years to find her husband remarried and her son raised my another woman. She also has to deal with the allegations of committing gruesome murders in this 10-episode web series; scheduled to debut on February 2 on Amazon Prime.
Altered Carbon (Netflix)
Netflix has gone a notch higher with this sci-fi series, is about how the human conscious of a wealthy man is transported into the body of a soldier, so the wealthy man can investigate his death. Joel Kinnaman stars in this series based on Richard K Morgan’s novel of the same name. The series streams on Netflix on February 2.
The Ritual (Netflix)
Netflix’s upcoming horror film is about four friends with a long-standing — but strained — connection take a hiking trip into the Swedish wilderness in the memory of a friend. It stars Rafe Spall, Robert James-Collier, Arsher Ali and Sam Troughton.
The Ritual is all set to stream from February 9, 2018.
Love Per Square Foot (Netflix)
Netflix is gearing to release its first ever Indian original film. Love Per Square Feet is a romantic series. Starring Vicky Kaushal (as Sanjay Chaturvedi) and Bang Baaja Baaraat fame Angira Dhar (as Karina D’Souza); it is a romantic series about two people coming together to buy an apartment in Mumbai. Love Per Square Foot will stream on February 14, on Netflix.
Everything Sucks! (Netflix)
Netflix is offering a quirky, funny coming of age story in Everything Sucks! There are many 90’s references and the story focusses on two groups of high schoolers in 1996 Oregon. All 10 episodes will stream on February 16 on Netflix.
The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale (Netflix)
With a streaming time of half-hour, The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale will have celebrity guests and comedy sketches, apart from insane video clips from the worldwide realms of TV, sports, politics, celebrity culture, and every corner of the internet. The unique 13 webisode talk show will stream on Netflix from February 18.
One of the most ambitious projects of Duncan Jones is sci-fi film Mute. Set in 2050s Berlin, a mute bartender (played by Alexander Skarsgard) is on a search to find his missing girlfriend and in his search he has to trust a pair of American surgeons (Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux). Mute premieres on February 23 on Netflix.
Seven Seconds (Netflix)
In Seven Seconds, the death of a 15-year-old African American boy in Jersey City sets off a police cover-up and a search for the truth. Netflix’s upcoming original crime anthology series stars Clare-Hope Ashitey, Beau Knapp, Regina King, David Lyons, Michael Mosley, Russell Hornsby among others. Seven Seconds premieres February 23 on Netflix.
The Tick (Amazon Prime)
Humorous superhero The Tick returns with the final six episodes for season 1. British actor Peter Serafinowicz reprises his role as The Tick and so does Griffin Newman as his nerdy superhero sidekick Arthur Everest. The Tick will come to Amazon Prime with six new episodes on February 23.
