Madhavan will soon be seen in the Amazon Prime Original Breathe, starring him, Amit Sadh, Sapna Pabbi and others. The Southern superstar and Bollywood heartthrob revealed a lot about himself, regarding his time in the South as well as in Bollywood. While everything that Madhavan said was informative, there’s something that revealed a lot about his fame in the South. During the press conference, Madhavan revealed that his fans in the South were planning to add the epitaph ‘King of Smiles’ for him, but that didn’t somehow didn’t work out because he became more active in Bollywood. Asked whether he felt bad about missing the chance of having an epitaph ahead of his name, he said,

“I might have missed that, but I will always be known as Maddy, Maddy Bhai and Maddy Anna. I have got all the love from two industries. I have no regrets.”

Madhavan’s web series, Breathe, is Amazon Prime India’s second India centric original, after Inside Edge. It will stream from January 26.
