Facebook’s ‘Watch’ platform has become quite the interesting thing over the past few weeks. Now, Facebook has introduced an option where advertisers can buy in-stream ads on videos. This tool will also allow advertisers to decide whether they wish their advertisements to run on the entire website or on the websites and apps that come under the Facebook Audience Network advertisement network.
The numbers are in favor. Almost 70 percent of ads with the duration of 15 seconds are viewed completely on the ad network. And the advertisers will now be able to deliver in-stream ads in the pre-roll and the mid-roll placements in selected apps and websites under the Facebook umbrella.
