Anthologies are becoming big for Indian audiences. After horror films and slice of life stories, anthology series are coming to web series. ErosNow brings to us Flip, a four-part anthology of twisted, unique stories.

The anthology consists of four stories, and all four talk about one small incident that changes the course of life for the characters. The stories are fresh, interesting and novel. Basically, the series works on the concept that’s a benchmark of fiction – one incident can change your life. This concept is an integral part of the DC legacy and the Joker’s storyline – and an entire film in the franchise was set up on this premise.

What’s Wow : Anthologies sometimes find it difficult to create a connect with the audiences. With several stories and the introduction of new characters in every episode, it’s a bit difficult – but FLIP does this successfully, thanks to a crisp screenplay and lean direction. Another reason that the website excels is the performances by the actors. The ever dependable Ranveer Shorey is in great form. Arjun Mathur brings the same A-Game we saw in Made in Heaven. Jim Sarbh should be the first option for every fantastic role. Sheetal Menon’s performance wakes us wonder where she’d been for so long.

What’s Blah : Nothing

Parting Shot : Flip has four interesting premises that keep the audience engaged.
