The Ocean’s series is one of the most popular ones. After all, the three films together have some of Hollywood’s most well known and handsome to boot actors – right from Brad Pitt to Matt Damon. A spin-off, Ocean’s 8, that will have an all-female cast is set to hit the theatres too. Before that, if younger fans will to understand why this franchise is such a big success, Netflix now has all the three films streaming on their platform. The first film was a surprise success, the second one was not and the third film in the series was a cool entertainer, even if it didn’t make too much of money. This was also the first film to have these many male superstars in one film.
This is one of the few big-ticket films that are now available on Netflix, after their main release. That the films are available just months before the release of the spin-off only goes to prove that Netflix understands the value of seminal franchises and is sticking it’s head out to milk that popularity.
The new film that comes out is titled Ocean’s 8 and is directed by Gary Ross. The star-studded cast includes Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Damian Lewis, Richard Armitage and James Corden.
