Netflix has announced a web series that will talk about two people who are part of an experiment that’s looking to combat mental illnesses. Emma Stone and Jonah Hill play two characters from very different backgrounds who end up in the institution. Emma plays a woman who’s fixated on changing her equation with her mother and sister while Jonah plays the member of a rich family whose diagnosis is schizophrenia.
It’s interesting to see that Netflix has released a teaser trailer that only stars the two main characters. The spartan look of the trailer is something that’s very unlike Netflix’s trailers for their other web -series.
The teaser trailer is attention grabbing and gives out little information about the series, that’s written by Patrick Somerville and directed by Cary Fukunaga. The series is based on a Norwegian television series of the same name. Watch the trailer here:
Emma Stone and Jonah Hill become the latest A-listers to join the streaming platforms. Emma Stone and Jonah Hill have earlier collaborated on the edgy comedy Superbad. She has also been part of the comedy horror Zombieland. In 2012, she starred in The Amazing Spiderman as Gwen Stacy, and portrayed the iconic scene of the character dying at the end of the film. She won the Academy Award for her performance in the 2016 film, La La Land.
