Discovery Channel is one of the most loved channels in India and audiences regularly connect with the channel for their content. Now, Discovery Communications India has announced a tie-up with YouTube, Facebook, RJio and Vodafone Play for several mobile-first channels.
The channels will have four interest areas, military, female activism, auto and food. The military based channel is named Veer and the female activism channel is named Rise. Releasing in the first months of 2018, the channels will have about 1000 videos and a 100 hour of original content.
