Great talent comes at a price, and Netflix knows this. It is paying David Letterman a whopping $2 million per episode for his web series.

In an interaction, Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer, Netflix said that David’s series will attract audience who haven’t got enough of the 70-year-old comedian yet.

In all, the streaming show will have 6 episodes and more seasons are also a possibility. For this season alone, David is taking home $12 million. This figure is in line with hosts in the TV space. Jimmy Fallon, Conan O’Brien, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel take home roughly the same amount for their TV shows.

TheDigitalHash.com is sure that David will be a smart investment for Netflix. And for us streamers, we will be in for some laugh riot in 2018 when this web show streams.
