The critically acclaimed web series, Brothers will get a season 2, that will start streaming on Vimeo on Demand from March 1. The web series is about transgenders speaking out about the challenges they have faced while going against the traditional roles of societal gender roles. The series talks about the day to day life of a transman.

The show is important because it is one of the first to have transmen depict transmen in the main roles. The entire crew also consists of trans cast and crew and the queer. The show will talk about all the issues that the LGBTQ community faces at all stands, whether it is healthcare, dating, dysphoria, homophobia, identity and more.

The main character of the first season, Jack, is a cisgender man who exclusively dates women and his friend, Davyn proposes his girlfriend of long time, Amy – and the results are disastrous. Another character, Aiden, is trying to raise money for his surgery. The eldest in the series, Max, is on hormones for a long while but doesn’t have the money for surgery.

The show is created by Emmett Lundberg, who was recently honoured on OUT Magazine’s OUT100. Last year, he received the Triple Threat Auteur at the Toronto Webfest.

The show’s Producer, Sheyam Ghieth is a Middle Eastern-American filmmaker who was born in Egypt and has lived in countries like Zimbabwe, Sudan, Germany, Italy and Louisiana. She has worked on films like Still Alice, The Bourne Legacy, Sex and the City 2 and Side Effects.
