Netflix rounds off its list with horror and comedy. Here’s that list:

The Witch:

The 2015 period horror comes to the streaming platform. When the Witch released, critical as well as box office response was very good, and it has a 91 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Few horror films get it right – the right kind of ambience and the right amount of spookiness – The Witch does it all.

American Horror Story Cult:

American Horror Story is one of the most intriguing content pieces out there. The AHS, as it is called, has a great fan following and it’s a simple decision for Netflix – get what the people want.

Amazon Prime goes the romantic comedy way.

Baby Mama

Baby Mama the 2008 comedy about a successful businesswoman who realizes she is infertile and therefore must hire a working-class woman to be her surrogate. The film stars some of the best talent out there – Sigourney Weaver, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler – you get the idea.

I Am Wrath :

It’s been a while that John Travolta has faced the screen. Whether you remember him from Grease or Face/Off, I am Wrath is an action flick that doesn’t want you to stress too much – just enjoy.

The Good Shepherd:

The Good Shepherd is a critically acclaimed spy film that stars Robert De Niro, Matt Damon and Angelina Jolie.   The film is based on the events that led to the creation of the Central Intelligence Agency. So, if you are into crime, espionage and all that – this one is a must watch.

ALTBalaji continues bringing its most famous films on the streaming portal.

Ek Thi Daayan : 

Ek Thi Daayan was one of the most hyped Bollywood horror films. This film brought together Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bharadwaj. Rumour has it that Ekta Kapoor had the climax changed.

Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai :

This film that put a stamp of approval on the crime cinema wave. Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai is the film that resurrected the careers of everyone involved.

LSD: Love, Sex aur Dhokha:

LSD is one of the first dark cinema offerings in India. Dibakar Banerjee does a great job of getting the murky, dark stories out in the open. Watch this film to know what paved the way for the new wave cinema in India.
