Ashwini Tiwary elated at representing India at BRICS film fest

Ashwini Tiwary, who will be representing India at BRICS film fest, states that she is honoured to do so. The event happens in Durban in July and she will be attending the event for her short film Ghar Ki Murgi.

The film stars Sakshi Tanwar and was shot in Delhi. The film also featured in Shanghai International Festival and it will be released in China very soon.  Ashwiniy is one of the five female directors from the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) to be selected to showcase their work. The other four directors are as follows: Brazilian director Daniela Thomas, Russian director Elizaveta Stishova, South African filmmaker Sara Blecher and Chinese director Liu Yulin.

In a media statement, she expressed her pleasure about the same and said that it is important to spread happiness and inspiration as a filmmaker.
