The streaming service war is all set to get big. Apple is planning to undercut Netflix with a cheaper subscription for its original content.

Besides this, Apple is also planning to bundle its TV content with Apple Music and AppleCare thus making its subscription service very big in terms of content. Apple will spend over $1 billion to create its very own originals. It has already signed Oprah Winfrey to do shows for its streaming service. The shows will premiere in 2019.

Apart from that, there are rumours that Apple will make some of its content free as well through the Apple TV app. In US, Netflix’s basic plan is priced at $7.99 per month; standard plan is $10.99 per month, premium plan is $13.99 per month.
