I feel really blessed and would like to thank ALTBalaji and the directors for giving me this opportunity and believing in me to play one of the most important and interesting characters in the series. I play the role of Yakub, who is an underworld gangster but at the same time a naive and fun-loving boy. It’s a great feeling to share the screen space with such a talented bunch of actors and especially Parth Samthaan who’s really fun to work with. I am looking forward to give my best in this underworld saga and hoping that people will like my character and love this series.”

Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu chronicles the rise of an underworld don Nawab’s rise from the 1980s to the ’90s. The series will trace the world of our hero as he travels from gun bazaars to the bylanes of Jogeshwari coming with its fair share of counterfeit DVD rackets, smuggling, extortion, killings, and shootouts. It promises to be an action-packed ride as the show highlights his stint with the glitz and glamour of Bollywood and Bangkok contrasting it with his stint in jail and living in the slums of Mumbai.
