Adam Sandler-Jennifer Aniston to come together for Netflix comedy Murder Mystery

Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are all set to reunite, after coming together in Just Go With It. The two will come together in Netflix’s comedy Murder Mystery. The feature will be directed by “Workaholics” co-creator Kyle Newacheck. It will be scripted by James Vanderbilt.

The feature follows a New York cop (Sandler) and his wife (Aniston), who become prime suspects in the murder of an elderly billionaire while vacationing in Europe. This will be Sandler’s sixth feature project at Netflix – The Ridiculous Six, The Do-Over, Sandy Wexler and Noah Baumbach’s The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) and the to-be-released The Week of. Co-starring Chris Rock, the comedy will release on April 27. Netflix has been so high on their overall deal with the comedian that they signed him to an additional four-picture deal last year.

As far as Jennifer is concerned, this is her first Netflix venture. Apart from this she is going to be seen in a digital series that’s picked up by Apple. Aniston will collaborate with Reese Witherspoon for it. The two actresses are also executive producing the series which is based on original concept by Michael Ellenberg and is inspired from Brian Stelter’s book Top of the Morning.
