Ace casting Director Mukesh Chhabra all set to play the lead actor in short film “Kirdaar”

Famous casting director and filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra is all set to play the protagonist in a short film “The story of a character-Kirdaar”. Directed by Actor, Writer and Director Swati Semwal, Kirdaar showcases the life of an actor and how things change around him when he is working on an acting project. It shows the impact it has on people around him and how they react to it. Kirdaar will also feature television actress Pooja Gor.

Commenting on this Mukesh Chhabra said, “I am not really an actor, Swati has been a dear friend for a long time. She has always been passionate towards her work and hence I did it for her”

“Being a filmmaker, I understand the overall process of filmmaking and I really appreciate Swati as she pays so much attention to the minutest details. It was a wonderful experience working with her” he further added.

“When I thought of making Kirdaar, the first person who came to my mind was Mukesh as he has given Indian cinema some incredible talents. He understands the mindset of an actor when they get a break in the industry and how life changes for them. The story of Kirdaar is also on the similar term. Working with him made it easier for me to execute my vision”, said Swati Semwal.

Swati Semwal who is known to make meaningful content has also directed shorts films like Blossom in Love, Dildo Laa Rey, Abnormal(LGBT Pride) & Sameera The Unusual-Unconditional Love to name a few. Being an actress as well, Swati has essayed a prominent role in Bareilly Ki Barfi and Fanney Khan opposite Rajkummar Rao.
