ABC News and digital media company ATTN: have come together to produce 10 original video content for the social media for the next six months. These videos will be distributed exclusively on both the companies’ digital platforms.
The deal with ATTN: gives ABC News a new avenue to significantly ramp up its original video production and extend its reach. The segments will range from short form (1-5 minutes) to premium midform (5-10 minutes) formats. The first video under the pact is expected to debut in the next six weeks.
The two organisations will collaborate on creating social video content with guest interviews, features and investigative stories by ABC News personalities. The made-for-digital video segments will be produced using ABC News footage and materials, extending the reach of Good Morning America, World News Tonight with David Muir and Nightline broadcasts.
